1.Open VLC media player.

2.Then press ctrl + N

3.Now type "screen://"  (without quotes)

4.Click an play and watch this simple little trick.

2.Use VLC as video converter

Do not you have any video converter to convert any videos files to a format compatible with your mobile , tablets or other devices or media players. Well if you have VLC then problem solved.

VLC let's you to convert media files too. To convert your media files follow these steps:

1.Navigate to media >> Convert/save

2.On the next screen click on Add and add media files thriugh browsing.

3.Now click on Convert/save button provided on buttom.

4.On the next screen choose the desirable video format to play video on your device.

5.Finally click on start than VLC will start converting your video file to desirable video format.

After conversion VLC will open converted media file infront of you.
